Lauren

Nurse Practitioner

Lauren was born and raised in Brookings, South Dakota. She attended Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD where she earned her Associates’s Degree in Nursing in 2015 and Bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2016. She was also a member of the women’s golf team. Lauren then worked as a full-time RN at Canistota Good Samaritan Society over the next 3 years. While working, she continued her education at Morningside College in Sioux City, IA where she received her Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019. She was also an assistant coach for the Men’s and Women’s Golf program at Morningside.

She now resides in Cedar Falls with her boyfriend, Kyle, and their 2 cats. Lauren has experience in long term care, geriatrics, family practice, urgent care, and orthopedic care. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, golfing, reading, riding her Harley, spending time with family and friends and trying new craft beer. Lauren is excited to be a part of the Hawk Nation Health Center team and provide long-lasting results for her patients.
